It is suggested to use lemon essential oil with a carrier oil, such as coconut oil or jojoba oil when using on the skin, especially the facial area.
Whichever dilution method you choose, the essential oil content should only account for 0.5% to 2% of the total blend. This equates to 3 to 12 drops per ounce of the finished product. Please adjust this number as needed for more sensitive skin and always make a small test patch before applying topically.
